From the recording Last Man on Moon
"Can't Stop My Crawl" is about being lost in disappointment, who you are now deceiving who you hoped to be. However, despite those disappointing results, you keep crawling back to it over and over again. Stylistically, the song pays homage to my desert rock roots.
Lyrics
Night is darkest when I'm awake
Radio play my mistakes
Got that feeling I adopted somewhere
Between Venice and Heaven's Gate
All that's left are fractions of me
Denominated by memories
If my younger self saw me like this
He would think this is some kind of trick
My levels fall
Its in my blood after all
Can't stop my crawl
Got a feeling I don't exist
Without pen, paper and a stereo twist
Could it be that I have become
The very thing that makes me sick
Commandeer on my own ship
No one's left but middle aged me
I forgot how to steer and I fear
I'm drifted out to sea
My levels fall
Its in my blood after all
Can't stop my crawl
