A Gemini of sorts (Both artistically and by birthright), Derek Jordan is both a guitar-slinging, indie rocker and pop rap artist. With a wide spectrum of influences ranging from Led Zeppelin to Twenty One Pilots and Muse to AWOLNATION, it comes natural to him in creating his own unique sound, one he refers to as Organic Desert Rap Rock. Sometimes quirky but, more often than not, introspective, Jordan’s lyrics sit heavily with the evergoing battle within, a juicing blender of self expectations and social judgement.
Growing up in blue-collar Steeltown (Pittsburgh, PA) and grinding it out in the Los Angeles gig circuit, by way of Chicago, Jordan’s been known by his peers to be one of the hardest workers in showbiz, highlighted by West Coast and International touring, complimented by radio play on over 120 stations.
With a relentless will, spontaneous charisma yet photogenic smile, Jordan captivates his live audiences with energetic and emotional performances.
